Seal on XRP

Whitepaper · Version 1.0 · 2026

A community-owned NFT and token ecosystem on the XRP Ledger.. born from a community take-over, rebuilt from the ground up, and governed by its holders.

1. Abstract

What this project is

Seal on XRP is a community-owned NFT and token ecosystem built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). It brings together a fair-launch community token ($SEAL), two 906-piece collections of living, on-chain NFTs (the SEALs and the SCROLLS), and a suite of community-run products.. a native marketplace, an arcade, creator tools, and an earned rewards system.

The project exists because its community refused to let an abandoned collection die. After the original developer stepped away, holders organized a formal community take-over (CTO) and rebuilt everything: new community-controlled NFTs, a free migration for original holders, and a full platform around a token whose issuer is permanently locked. This paper describes the project’s origins, its token and NFTs, the utility that ties them together, and its governance, treasury, compliance, and roadmap.

2. Background: A Community Take-Over

How we got here

SEAL began as an NFT collection on the XRP Ledger. Its original creator later abandoned the project.. removing liquidity, draining the project wallets, and posting a public message handing the project “over to the community.” The team’s communication channels went silent and its roadmap stalled.

Rather than let it disappear, active holders organized a formal community take-over. The community re-minted a new, community-controlled generation of the NFTs (V2), opened a free V1-to-V2 migration so original holders could carry their assets forward at no cost, and rebuilt the token’s liquidity, marketplace, and infrastructure from scratch. In 2026 the project rebranded from “Seal CTO” to Seal on XRP, shifting its identity from its takeover origins toward a forward-looking community of creators and builders.

The circumstances of the takeover, including the original team’s public handover and the on-chain record of the fund removal, are documented on a dedicated evidence page: sealonxrp.com/cto-evidence.

3. Vision & Mission

Why we build

Seal on XRP is a network of creators, builders, and entrepreneurs who believe the seals deserved better than abandonment. The mission is to give the collection real, lasting utility.. and to do it transparently, sustainably, and in the community’s hands.

The project pairs culture with function: a memetic community token, collectible NFTs that can genuinely evolve over time, and a growing set of products that give holders reasons to participate. Alongside the fun, the community advocates for the practical strengths of blockchain.. fast and low cost transactions, transparent on-chain records, and self-custody.. using the XRP Ledger as its foundation.

4. The $SEAL Token

The community token

$SEAL is a community-owned token issued natively on the XRP Ledger. Its issuing account is blackholed.. the master key is permanently disabled, with no regular key and no signer list. In practice this means no one, including the community, can mint additional supply, freeze balances, or alter the token. $SEAL is a genuinely fair-launch, immutable asset rather than a developer-controlled one.

$SEAL trades on the XRP Ledger’s decentralized exchange and automated market maker, and it is fully non-custodial.. holders always control their own tokens. Within the ecosystem, $SEAL serves as the community’s namesake and cultural core. It is a community memecoin: a coordination and identity asset for the project, not a claim on profit or an investment product.

5. Supply & Liquidity

Fixed supply, transparent liquidity

5.1 Supply

$SEAL has a fixed total supply of approximately 518.9 billion tokens. Because the issuing account is blackholed, that supply can never be increased, reduced, or frozen.. there is no ongoing emission, no mint function, and no team-controlled reserve that can dilute holders. What exists on the ledger today is what will always exist. The community does not control the supply; it is fixed and publicly verifiable. $SEAL was distributed as a fair-launch community asset, with no developer mint held in reserve.

5.2 Liquidity

Trading liquidity for $SEAL is provided through a transparent, on-chain automated market maker (AMM) pool on the XRP Ledger, pairing $SEAL with XRP. This liquidity is currently provided and managed by the community.. individual holders who supply the pool.. and the project treasury holds none of it today. Because it lives entirely on-chain, anyone can verify the pool’s depth, composition, and every trade against it in real time; there are no hidden or off-ledger reserves. As the pool grows and the project generates recurring revenue, the community and treasury aim to collectively hold and maintain a portion of the liquidity over time, to help support a healthy and durable market.

6. The NFT Collections

Living, on-chain NFTs

The ecosystem is anchored by two collections of 906 NFTs each:

  • The SEALs (906).. the flagship collection, with its art being hand-rebuilt and upgraded.
  • The SCROLLS (906).. the companion collection, being built out with full original art and its own traits in the same style and world as the SEALs.

Both are living, on-chain NFTs. They are mutable on the ledger, which means they can be upgraded and evolve in place.. the NFT itself updates while keeping the same token, with no burning and no re-minting. This is what makes SEAL one of the first collections on XRPL where your NFT is not frozen at mint, but can change as the project grows. Because both collections are built at the same body sizes and in a shared style, traits are designed to eventually cross over between them.

7. Ecosystem & Utility

What holders can do

The project is more than a token and a picture. Several products give the ecosystem ongoing utility:

7.1 The Trait Store

Holders will be able to re-roll and customize traits on their SEAL directly on the ledger, for a small fee. Every result is unique.. the engine never produces a trait combination that already exists across the collection. The change happens on-chain: your NFT updates in place, so you keep the same SEAL, evolved. Re-roll fees are paid in standard crypto (XRP / RLUSD) so the store is accessible to anyone, not gated behind a separate token.

7.2 The Marketplace

A native marketplace at sealonxrp.com/marketplace lets the community browse and trade the SEALs and SCROLLS, with verified-issuer collections and live on-chain volume and floor statistics.

7.3 The Arcade & Social Casino

A free-to-play arcade and social casino where members earn rewards by being active. Games are provably fair.. players can verify their own outcomes. It follows a sweepstakes model: you play with free, earned points rather than a required purchase, keeping it a fun engagement layer rather than gambling.

7.4 Creator Tools & Merch

The community has creator tooling.. including a meme studio and a shared gallery.. plus a merchandise line, giving holders ways to create, share, and represent the brand in the real world.

7.5 The Rewards System

An earned rewards layer runs across the ecosystem: members can earn through holding, playing, and engaging, then spend or hold those rewards for perks such as trait customization, giveaways, early or discounted access to new drops, loyalty tiers, and a voice in community decisions. A dedicated utility and rewards token is planned to power this layer; its design is intentionally earned-not-sold, and full details will be announced when it is ready. The team is deliberately not rushing this component.

8. Governance

Who runs it

Seal on XRP is steered by its community. Day-to-day stewardship and treasury control sit with the Seal Team 6council, which operates a multi-sig over the community treasury so that no single person can move funds unilaterally. Holders have a voice in the collection’s direction through community voting. The project is working toward formal incorporation under Delaware law.. potentially including registration as a DUNA (Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Association).. to give the community a real-world legal wrapper. More detail is available on the governance and legal page.

Throughout, the project is non-custodial: holders always hold their own tokens and NFTs, and interact with the ecosystem from their own wallets.

9. Treasury & Use of Proceeds

Stewardship, not profit

The project sustains itself through community revenue rather than outside investment. Current revenue streams include royalties from secondary NFT sales, primary NFT sales from the collection, and community tips. As the roadmap delivers, the Trait Store will add re-roll and customization fees.

These proceeds flow into a community treasury controlled by the Seal Team 6 council through a multi-signature wallet, so no single person can move funds unilaterally. They are directed toward the long-term stewardship and sustainability of the project.. funding development and artwork, covering operational costs, and supporting community rewards, events, and giveaways. The treasury holds none of the trading liquidity today; as the pool grows and recurring revenue builds, the community and treasury aim to collectively hold and maintain a portion of the liquidity over time to help support a healthy market.

Seal on XRP is run as a community effort, and it is not operated for the personal profit of its leadership. Proceeds exist to sustain and grow the ecosystem for holders. Treasury priorities are set and reviewed by the council and may evolve as the project grows. Nothing here is a promise of financial return.

10. Roadmap

The order of things

The roadmap is sequenced deliberately so the ecosystem is built sustainably. Timing depends on the artwork, which is being hand-rebuilt now, so the project shares the orderrather than fixed dates:

  1. Artwork.. rebuilding and upgrading the SEAL collection’s art (in progress).
  2. Trait Store.. on-chain re-rolls go live.
  3. The SCROLLS.. the second collection comes to life with full art and its own traits.
  4. Rewards token launch.. introduced only once the above are live and the ecosystem has a healthy foundation and revenue base.
  5. Scale.. cross-collection traits, loyalty tiers, expanded governance, and broader platform features.

Prices, fees, earn rates, and dates are intentionally left to be announced. Anything not yet confirmed should be treated as planned direction, not a fixed promise.

11. Transparency & Compliance

Built to be verifiable

  • Immutable token. The $SEAL issuer is blackholed, so supply and token rules cannot be changed.. this is publicly verifiable on the ledger.
  • Transparent liquidity. Trading liquidity sits in an on-chain AMM anyone can inspect, with no hidden reserves.
  • Non-custodial. The community never takes custody of holders’ tokens or NFTs.
  • Legal structure. The project is working toward formal incorporation under Delaware law, potentially including a DUNA registration. It treats its tokens and NFTs as utility and community assets, not investments, and does not market them as a way to profit.
  • Fair play. The social casino is a sweepstakes model built on free, earned points, with provably fair games and disclosed odds.
  • Documented origins. The community take-over is backed by a public evidence page, including the original team’s handover and the on-chain record.
